oSTEM Leadership Program

Would you like a chance to develop your leadership skills? Would you like to do so with a group of queer students from other oSTEM chapters? This is your chance! oSTEM's first national leadership program is designed for queer students in oSTEM.

What is it?

oSTEM's Leadership is a three-part program aimed at personal and leadership development. The program will be held over the summer/fall with an in-person retreat occurring February 2019. The time commitment required is 2 hours per week for a total of 15 weeks.

Part 1: Book Discussion | online

Part 2: Organizational Development Course  | online

Part 3: Weekend Retreat | in-person

The weekend retreat will be an all expense paid retreat to practice skills that can be taken back to support your local chapter. This portion of the leadership development is only available to those who completed the first two parts of this leadership development program.

How do I join?

The leadership development is currently only accepting nominations from students in an oSTEM chapter.* We will accept 2 nominations per oSTEM chapter.
If you meet the above criteria, please click the button below to fill out a nomination form!
The deadline is May 31st, 2018.

If you have any questions or if you are a professional or sponsor looking to get involved, please email Jonathan Soulsby at jonathan.soulsby@ostem.org.

*Students who are still in the process of forming a chapter are eligible to participate in the online portions. If they become an active chapter of oSTEM by November 2018, then they will be wait listed for the weekend retreat.
