Nikki is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Arizona, where they study microbiology, public health, and gender and women’s studies. Nikki does research at the Department of Immunology investigating the regulation of type 2 immune responses. In addition to research, Nikki is also passionate about STEM outreach and education. Nikki became involved with oSTEM during their first year at the University of Arizona, and they now serve as co-president of that chapter. Nikki is an intern with Pride Alliance, the student LGBTQ+ group, and they also facilitate an ace/aro discussion group. Nikki served on the logistics committee for the 2016 oSTEM Conference, and is very excited to participate on the programming committee this year. In their spare time, they watch Netflix, read books, and drink tea.
